Recreation Information|
The STSA Recreational Soccer Program is geared to players of ALL skill levels. Teams are made up for each spring and fall season independently based upon the ages of players and skill level as rated by their prior coaches. The teams are initially built by a computer program which takes into account the ages and skill rating and comes as close to making each team "equal skilled" as possible.
Age groupings are: U-6 (U-5 also based on having enough of these players to make enough teams to have a "league"), U-8, U-10, U-10 Majors, U-12 and Girls U-19 High School League (Fall only).
Registration Numbers average about 1,100 players in both the spring and fall seasons for recreational play. About another 500 play on travel teams. Over 125 teams were formed for the Fall 2006 season. For the latest fee information, please refer to the Current Registration Form.
